About the Workshop

The EmSec'25 Workshop invites academic and industrial experts from across the world to engage in seminal discussions on the grand challenges of securing embedded systems from emerging analog cybersecurity and unprotected sensing problems. The invitation-only workshop aims to identify leading research topics that guide future research efforts in embedded systems security in the next 5-10 years.

Program

The workshop which brings together academic and industry leaders to collaborate on a white paper shaping the future of research funding affecting our marketplace. A previous example is our 2018 CCC Embedded Security Workshop Report. Below are what the participants can expect in the 2025 workshop:

• Catalyze research: Technical white papers led by the organizers have a history of guiding funding agencies in creating research programs globally. Join us and lead future embedded security research.
• Disseminate opinions: Besides the white paper, workshop participants will also collaboratively produce opinion articles at IEEE Spectrum or Communications of the ACM to distribute the workshop's outcomes.
• Team-Building: Engage with experts from the security, hardware, and sensing communities during brainstorming sessions and group social events. Let's create impactful collaboratoins.
